A portfolio booklet for Gallas Metalworks, a Milwaukee based architectural metal fabricator. I did page layout for the 28 page booklet.
Logo design for a mobile application called ClientSherpa, a client organization app for attorneys. The focus for this project was a minimalistic logo that's easily identifiable and memorable. Working with the client I developed a variety of options until we came to a final logo design.
In my last year at MIAD I merged my senior thesis project with my work at Fyxation Bicycle Company. This project focuses on creating new environmentally friendly and unique packages for various bicycle components.
I developed retail packages for 5 of Fyxation's products utilizing molded cardboard trays, compostable plastics and soy based inks. Matt Unger, an industrial designer, helped my molded cardboard tray concepts become a reality though CAD and a 3-D Printer. Another component of this project to create a space for the 2016 Thesis Exhibition displaying my packaging designs.
Logo design for Gathering Place Brewing Company, a Milwaukee Micro brewery established in 2016. This project entailed secondary branding elements including a tagline icon, coaster and sticker.
Postcard illustration and design for MIAD's 2016 Fresh Meet Portfolio Review. The project theme was completely open ended, which allowed me to experiment with hand drawn typography.
Colectivo, a local Milwaukee coffee roaster gave MIAD illustration and design students the opportunity to participate in a coffee cup design competition. My cup design features hand-rendered typography and a bright, playful color palette.

Cycling kit designs for The Wisconsin Bicycle Fed and Fyxation.
A mechanic needs their tools like a baby needs a mother. The Mech is a multitool that is developed and designed specifically for the mechanic. This small but powerful device boasts seven tools that can fit right in your pocket. The Mech is a mechanic’s best friend around the house and shop.
Given a multi-tool we were assigned the task of creating a unique identity for a tool with packaging that incorporated a vacuum formed element. The Mech package identity is driven towards the mechanic or handy man using a limited color palette and weathered appearance.

A series of demonstrations at Fyxation Bicycle Company headquarters in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Each demonstration offers a different maker from the local region. This was the first demo featuring Paul Reardon a custom frame builder from La Crosse.
Project entailed creating a poster, t-shirt and social media advertising for the event. Illustration was a collaboration with illustrator Jasmon Grant.
Presented with a carbon fiber gravel bike frame and the name "crusher" I needed to create an identity. This bike is meant to be taken on adventure rides where the pavement ends. I wanted the graphics to have a modern cutting edge aesthetic with an aggressive side.
A catalog for Fyxation's leather lifestyle accessories which include a six-pack beer caddy for a bicycle. This catalog is distributed to brewery's and liquor stores in the USA to attract potential buyers.
A project that entailed developing a beverage, branding and package design. I created a wheat ale that was inspired from a trip to Germany in 2014. The Hefeweizen packaging is a modern twist on a classic beer aesthetic.

Given the task to create digital and print work to promote an annual race hosted by Fyxation Bicycle Company. Project entailed creation of an event website and event photography. Fyxation produces bicycles and components that are sold worldwide. In the summer of 2015 the company decided to open a full service bicycle shop and show floor in Milwaukee, WI. This new shop required exterior and interior graphics which I worked on.
A large part of this project was designing a new company logo that could be used for outdoor signs. I collaborated with Mauricio Barboza, an architect, on designing the permanent store signs and the 2015 Interbike display. The cyclist mural was a solo project I took on which entailed the full scale painting.
A Gentlemen’s luxury scent, specially formulated to provide a long-lasting aroma. Composed of unique fresh and spicy notes, built on an elegant woody base. Found exclusively at Nordstrom.
A project designed for my packaging design class. Given the task to concoct a fragrance and a package design to accompany it. Priq is a refined scent for the type of man who likes to take care of business.
A creative collaboration with the talented illustrator Jasmon Grant. This project was developed by Jasmon and myself for the Creative Fusion art show at MIAD. We imagined what parts of our current lifestyle could be in a futuristic space world. Jasmon created the illustrations and I designed typography to round out the concept for each poster.
Presented with a "Fat Bike" and the name "blackhawk". I was given the task of creating a visual identity. This involved developing a logo and graphics that would be applied to a bicycle as vinyl. After developing and prototyping the graphics I then communicated with overseas production to direct the layout of the graphics on the bicycle frames.

Logo design work for real and conceptual companies.
A magazine created for my communication design class at MIAD. The focus of this magazine is to bring the community closer to the local art scene in Milwaukee. Articles include first hand volunteer experiences from MIAD alumni.
Project included a print magazine along with a digital application version.
Fyxation catalog that contains all of Fyxation's current bicycle models and components. I create the layout for the catalog and shot/edited studio photography when needed.
I was given the task of creating a fresh modern look for the 2015 Eastside Single speed bicycle. This involved developing graphics that are applied to a bicycle as vinyl. After developing and prototyping the graphics I then communicated with overseas production to direct the layout of the graphics on a mass scale of the bicycle frames.

Offering a full service shop requires a service menu. I developed a take home tri-fold menu for customers and an in store menu too.
